Ranks and Thoughts – Week 4 TE’s

MUST STARTS

1 Finley vs Denver – Sorry Gronk! But Finley right now is the TE to own in 2011.

2 Gronkowski vs Oak – He will be featured heavily again , but he will also not be able to keep up his barrage of TDs all season , or can he?

3 Graham vs Jax – Away against a surprisingly good pass defense, Colston may be back, but Graham is coming into his own , very solid , safe TE to own right now.

4 Witten vs Det – The Romo injury is sapping some of the life out of that offense. He will need to be on track this week or the Lions might run away with this one

5 Vernon Davis vs Philly – The LBs are bad there , flat out terrible , Their secondary won’t be able to cover him and 6-8 catches a week since his sit down with Harbaugh seems legit.

SOLID

6 Olsen vs Chi – Chicago is beatable by the TE as shown by Finley last week (like I said). Add the fact its against his old team and you have to figure he will be featured heavily in this game.

7 Pettigrew vs Dallas –  My pick to surprise last week , did just that and lived up to the hype , expect another good game this week as he begins to shape up as a confident start each week.

8 Keller vs Bal – Great start to the season , making me look good , which I drafted you a bit more though , next year I will adjust my draft strats on TEs.

9 Owen Daniels vs Pitt – Hating the matchup , but he will be relied upon as per usual.

10 Dallas Clark vs TB – Painter is an upgrade , but Clark still has to show he can click with him , even in a great matchup like this. BTW PUNDITS PLEASE STOP TALKING ABOUT HOW GREAT TALIB IS  , HE IS GETTING DESTROYED BY EVERYONE EACH WEEK!

11 Lewis vs NO – My breakout TE this week , Jags will need to use someone other then MJD and Thomas and I think he will be healthy enough to catch a TD or maybe even TWO!

QUESTIONS

12 Fred Davis vs STL – Cooley came back and took a lot of his work , it’s a shame because his talent is out of this world , his potential keeps him here but monitor the situation closely.

13 Tony G vs Sea – Great matchup , still showing signs of life! Not a bad start this week ,you could do worse.

14 Gresham vs Buf – Buffalo is getting dominated in the pass game this year and every saw what Gronk did last sunday , Gresham should have some success after some decent play last week.

15 Winslow vs Indy – Look elsewhere as he is banged up and missed practice. He will most likely play but why take the chance on someone who you know isn’t going to be huge anyway.

16 Jared Cook vs Cle – I would actually scour the wire for this guy. I think he will start to get used now that Britt is out.

ZZZZ status for Cook!

17 Chandler vs Cin – This is the week you don’t score a TD! I am positive about this!

18 Dickson vs NYJ – Made me proud last week! Do it again this week! I believe he will be underrated all year as a productive TE.

19 Cooley vs STL – Looked good , obviously has talent but the unclear roles between he and Davis is a legit concern.

20 Mcmichael vs MIA – Gates out , he is good for 5 targets and a TE chance. Nice bargain in Salary Cap games.

RBs and WRs out tonight , if possible!

as usual I nailed the TEs last week and made some VERY specific calls.. Keller , Pettigrew , Finley breaking out , Graham , Daniels scoring and the list goes on and on!

Cook could be the big call for me this week as he has fallen off the fantasy radar but was someone who held pretty decent value in July and August drafts , so keep an eye on him!
